About Bayraktar TB2

The Bayraktar TB2 is a Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) tactical armed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by Baykar Technologies of Turkey. First flying in 2014, it has become one of the most operationally proven combat drones in the world.

With a wingspan of 12 meters and a maximum takeoff weight of 650 kg, the TB2 can carry up to 150 kg of payload and remain airborne for up to 27 hours. It operates at altitudes up to 25,000 feet and has a range exceeding 150 km from its ground control station.

The TB2 has been combat-proven in multiple conflicts including Libya (2019–2020), the Nagorno-Karabakh War (2020), and the Russo-Ukrainian War (2022–present), where its precision strike capabilities against armored vehicles, air defense systems, and logistical targets gained worldwide attention.
